TERMS and CONDITIONS
MILEAGE CHARGES (where applicable)
All prices include 10 miles of travel from MK45 2GH. Journeys over 10 miles will be charged at £0.60pence per mile return journey from MK45 2GH to the destination.
Any tolls or parking charges either in hotels, carparks or parking meters will be added to the makeup fee.
Until receipt of the booking fee all bookings are provisional.
Payments by the client
The client must pay a deposit of £50 to confirm the booking via bank transfer to Tricia D’Costa. This £50 will be redeemable against the total remaining balance. The trial fee as listed is payable prior to your trial date. This will also be redeemable off the remaining balance. The rest of the balance must be paid 4 weeks prior to your wedding day via bank transfer to Tricia D’Costa.
Trials are recommended no less than 12 weeks prior to your wedding date. Once a trial date has been booked, confirmation will be sent via email. In the event that your trial date may need to be moved due to circumstances beyond my control. I will endeavour to provide you with at least 1 weeks notice. I cannot accept responsibility for additional arrangements a client may choose to make, for example, booking a hotel stay. If you, the client, need to cancel or rearrange your trial appointment, 1 weeks notice is required or the full cost of the trial will be chargeable. This is due to not being able to offer the appointment to another client and therefore loss of income as a result.
Cancellations by you
Should you wish to cancel your provisional booking before the booking fee is paid no charges will be levied but the date will be released.
The trial fee is non-refundable.
The £50 deposit is non-refundable.
Cancellation between 60 and 29 days from the date of the final appointment = cancellation charge equivalent to 75% of the TOTAL cost of the booking.
Cancellation within 30 days of the final appointment = cancellation charge equivalent to 100% of the TOTAL cost of the booking.
Should the client wish to cancel this booking at any stage written notice must be given either to [address and/or email]. Cancellation will take effect from the date of receipt of the written cancellation and you will receive written confirmation of your cancellation and any cancellation charges that may have been levied. Proof of posting is not proof of receipt therefore the client is advised to check that the cancellation has been received.
Coronavirus and Subsequent Strains
Payments for existing bookings are still required to be paid as stated in the Terms and Conditions. Should the UK Governement impose unplanned restrictions of services which may affect your booking, all monies paid and impending services will be transferred and honoured to an alternative date of your choosing.
Cancellations by me
Until the deposit is received, no booking, provisional or otherwise is made.
Once I confirm your booking, the date will be reserved for you.
In the event of an accident or severe illness, inclement weather conditions affecting myself getting to you on the actual wedding day I will endeavour to find you a replacement artist. I have been in the industry for many years so have many makeup artist contacts who will be able to replicate my work using my photos and notes. I cannot be held responsible for any mechanical breakdowns, or for any delays caused by events beyond my control. In the event that I cannot find anyone else available that I would recommend, then the full extent of my liabilities’ would be to give you a full refund.
I reserve the right to cancel your booking without refund, if at any time during the trial or on your wedding day, any member of your bridal party becomes abusive or violent or displays any behaviour that I feel offensive.
